Newtown school shooting: Thoughts and tributes |
This Is A Good Gun
He told us that he dismantled then smashed up the entire gun to make sure that it could not be used again.
Are you a proud gun owner? Do you own a gun that was banned under the now-expired 1994 Federal Weapons Ban? Go here to share your thoughts.
- dsashin, CNN iReport producer
This gun has been under the floorboards of my attic for 40 years. I thought I needed it "just in case". After viewing Don Lemon's report of the sorrow in Newtown, I thought, what can I do? I thought I would sell this gun, but that would only increase the chance of it ending up in the hands of a bad person. So I smashed it with a sledge hammer, and threw it in the river. No one will ever be hurt with this deadly toy. Lets get rid of the guns. Let it start with mine. Thank you Don.
