    Qanats , more and more !

    Nuevo Albergis had a large system of Qanats installed , which supplied all the water needed to fill the saltpans , of which they must have had close to 10 000 or more. On the site one can see ,what must have been generations of Tunnel builders , because traces on Qanats can be seen in the flood damaged parts of the site ,and newer Qanats in the still undamaged part of the city.
