26 Bows for Tribute to Sandy Hook
My 7 yr old Daughter made Bows for our tree in remembrance for the children and adults of Sandy Hook Elementary. She said "Bows are pretty, fun and one of the first things we learn on our own is to tie our shoes..we learn to make a bow Mommy! " I bet all those children knew how to tie their shoes." It is ironic that the first symbol of independence of a kindergartner or 1st grader is tying their shoes. These bows sympbolizes independence and innocence of childhood a fitting tribute from one 7 year old to her fellow 1st graders.
