Today while completing some of the donation acts delivering toys to the Salvation Army around the corner from my house, my friend Matt and I stumbled upon an act we could complete then and there.
Families were lined up to get their Christmas presents and there was a huge rush with not a lot of volunteers. So, we jumped right in! It was incredible, and I want to give a special thanks to the Salvation Army on Mt. Vernon Avenue in Alexandria, and especially those who were there today.
Shelley, Faith, Amber, Ryan, Ray, Michelle, Corrine, and an extra-special thanks to Lt. Sheri Jones and her husband for being so wonderful, cheerful, and energetic while we were there! Thank you for helping to fulfill Act 12 for Victoria Soto.
