    My Classroom Dec 21st, 2012

CNN PRODUCER NOTE     jgross811, a teacher at Shepherd High School in Michigan, says they've had some bad weather and students were hoping for school to be closed before Christmas break. 'My heart cannot imagine the pain of those parents and family members. I have hugged my kids over and over since this happened. I have appreciated my students every time they walk through my classroom door. Having people complain about weather and having to be in school just seemed to be so petty, I want to remind them how lucky we are here at Shepherd.'
