Christmas where you live |
Christmas Spirit Extends to My Car!
Any Motor City native will tell you that cars are the fabric of a Detroit heritage. Even thought my husband and I have been living in Florida for over 19 years, we still feel like we need to honor those roots. It’s how we roll!
And so it is that the son of an automotive engineer and conceptional designer, and the daughter of an industrial engineer, feels the need to decorate their cars for Christmas Day.
In the spirit of entrepreneurialism, we feel like it is a duty to spread good cheer.
We have a lot of enthusiastic reviews from fellow motorists! Sometimes we forget that we have antlers and a red nose on the front of our mode of transportation. When we respond by looking puzzled, they point at with great delight! At which point we respond under our breath…”Mission accomplished!”
We have had this “set” for about three years. Children and adults of all ages enjoy the sight of our sleigh. My husband and I also feel like we have honored our fathers well. The spirit of the holiday can take many forms….even your own red sleigh!
