On May 20th I loaded up the family in the car for a six hour drive west from Arlington, Texas to catch the solar eclipse just before it disappeared at sunset. I didn't tell the wife or kids where we were going or what we were doing, so the drive included dozens of wild guesses about our destination. Just south of Sundown, Texas was the center-line of the eclipse at sunset. We arrived just in time to jump out of our car and take a few photos. This picture is of our three kids grabbing onto the "ring of fire".
