    CNN PRODUCER NOTE     alexpreditor, a footage review specialist with the Shutterstock photo agency, shot this mesmerizing video of elaborate holiday windows at six New York City department stores in late December. 'I always make sure to check out the different holiday windows as a break from the seasonal chaos,' she says. 'I think the holiday windows represent New Yorkers' constant creativity and innovation in one of the four fashion capitals of the world.'

    Holiday window displays at Macy's, Lord and Taylor, Saks Fifth Avenue, Barney's, Bloomingdales and Bergdorf Goodman on Dec 19, 2012. The holiday windows will stay up through new year's.
