Fatality in Cincinnati OH 12/26 I-71N

CNN PRODUCER NOTE     cwinger343 is a nursing student and her husband is a police officer. On December 26, they were traveling north on Interstate 71, north of the Fields-Ertel Road exit in the Northern section of Cincinnati, when they came upon the crash site. The first responders were not yet on the scene. Local news reports confirm the driver was killed when she lost control of her vehicle while driving south on I-71, crossed the median and hit a state snowplow.

'I shared the photo because we knew that maybe others need to understand the importance of slowing your speed and paying closer attention to others on the roads in conditions such as this ... We saw folks driving too fast and too close repeatedly the entire trip today,' she said. 'As soon as we passed this, people were speeding again. They apparently did not realize they had just passed a very immediate and very close encounter of a fatality. It could have been them.'
