    Married in a VW bus, Oct 2012

    My husband has always been into Volkswagens, owning a bug his entire adult life and making his living restoring them. We dreamed of owning a bus for a few years and finally bought one last December. We spent the next 9 months restoring it and took it on a 3 week cross country trip in October. Our first stop was in Lower Antelope Canyon, AZ where we got married! We then went to Zion NP, Death Valley, NP, Mt. Whitney, CA, Grand Teton/Yellowstone NP, Teddy Roosevelt NP and back thru the northern states to our home in Staten Island NY. We dressed up in our wedding outfits every chance we got and took pictures all over the country. In the next year and half we hope to travel the US/Canada/Alaska/Central America living out of it for at least a year or two!
