    White Christmas in Arkansas

    CNN PRODUCER NOTE     LanMan lives in Cabot, Arkansas, where he shot these photos December 26. The state has never seen blizzard conditions before.

    On Christmas day 2012 Arkansas saw it's first blizzard conditions in recorded history and received over a foot of snow in some locations. Over two hundred thousand people were without power at one time with lineman crews working through Christmas night.

     

    I took most of these pictures at 7 a.m. December 26. It was very quiet and still outside except for the crashing of trees in the nearby forrest as they succumbed to the weight of a quarter inch of ice and 10 inches of snow.
