    Sittin' on a Volcano and Getting Struck by Lightning

    Sitting on the top of Guagua Pichincha, the lower summit of Pichincha, an active volcano in Quito, Ecuador.  These photos were taken while hiking around the lower summit and on the four hour hike to the peak of Rucu Pichincha!  The third photo was taken from the tallest point, moments before being zapped by the electricity in the atmosphere from a storm forming!  Read about the climb to the top of Rucu Pichincha, the tallest summit, here:
