    Navy Re-enlistment

    Then Vice President Bush re-enlisted me onboard the U.S.S. Enterprise (CVN-65) on August 13, 1985. I remember him as very tall, with a presence about him. He introduced me to Barbara Bush, who was very distinguished during our short conversation. I was in awe during our time together. I mentioned to him I was from Texas. He had a big smile and started relating stories about his home area.
