McCain's big night: Your reaction |
CORPORATE WELFARE....Out of the Frying Pan, Into the Fire
Bush gave a huge economic speech this morning. Promised to clean up this mess and deal with the causes later.
You know what, NOT SO FAST. These are major corporations that have filed bankruptcy or need to be bailed out in the course of the week. Were there not signs before this? If we are expected to fund their mistakes, I would like to know what we are buying. Exactly what practices, people, and politics got these corporations to this state and I want specifics on each and everyone.
In case you haven't noticed, our government is kind of broke, so who is paying for this handout. I don't think we have to look any further than the closest mirror to get that answer.
With my own personal bills going sky high, I think this is the final blow.
You know, Bill Clinton may have screwed Monica Lewinsky, but George Bush has given us a big bend over and take it time and again.
This plan reeks, think about it. Not once has Bush mentioned accountability from these corporations.
