When my husband and I found out this summer we'll be expecting our first little one this coming March, we were ecstatic! Our happiness was short lived though when we found out he would be deploying in October, and his return date would be in April.... two weeks after my due date! We're already stationed overseas so I'm alone through this, but he tries his hardest everyday to talk me through the daily struggles. He's the most selfless, dedicated and sweetest man I know. He makes me extremely proud everyday when he puts that uniform on. Even if he can't make it home for the birth of his first-born, I will still love him unconditionally and just continue to count down the days until we can finally be a family. Babe you're my hero and I can't wait to see your newborn son in your arms! We love you!
