    Pushing Seniors Off The fiscal Cliff

     
    This image and the accompanying text were created to dramatize the fate of older Americans if Congress approves President Obama's proposed Social security cuts, offered in his budget plan to avert the "Fiscal Cliff."

    The authors, Judith Landy and Janet Kusnick, are sisters {one a writer, one an artist) both senior citizens, who pooled their talents to create this graphic image of what Obama's cuts will mean to older Americans who depend on their monthly Social Security checks for survival.

    Landy and Kusnick off er the cartoon and story free of charge to any organization, publication, public official or individual wishing to use it to oppose President Obama's proposal to slash Social Security payments by changing the government formula for calculating cost-of-living increases.
