    A Life Changing Life Style Change


    I've been heavy my entire life and I would try diet after diet and exercise after exercise but I would never stick with anything long enough because I wanted to see results fast, and I would get frustrated and give up after just a few months. So at the beginning of this year I was at my heaviest which was 331 pounds, I was just so unhappy, and I wanted to better my life psychically, mentally and emotionally. So on January 23, 2012, I started taking Zumba classes in my hometown. I had always seen the commercials on TV for it and thought there is no way I could ever do that, I went to my first class very skeptical because I knew this would just be something I would just give up on after a few months, but I stuck with it because it is so much fun and it is something I truly enjoy and have made lifelong friends in the process. So with the help of dieting, portion control, Body by Vi, and Zumba 5 days a week, I have lost 111 pounds, went from a size 26 to a size 16 and it has taken less than a year. This life style change has helped boost my self esteem, made me look at life in a more positive light, brought my smile back, made lifelong friendships, and just made me happier. I'm definitely enjoying life more than I ever used to.
