    2nd Winter Storm in As Many Days Strikes Cornfield

    CNN PRODUCER NOTE     k3vsDad says a second major snowstorm of the winter season hit Farmersburg, Indiana on December 28. He says the recent evening storm brought in more snow than the previous storm, which was earlier within the week.

    A second winter storm blew into the Cornfield tonight. While the first storm Wednesday had out blizzard warnings, we are actually getting more snow than we did Wednesday.

    As you can see from Picture 1 taken around 8 p.m. and Picture 2 taken around 11 p.m. the snow is really accumulating and still coming down.

    I took the first 6 photos with my Canon Kiss Digital Rebel 300D at 8 p.m. and again at 11 p.m. Iohn was at work for the earlier pictures so couldn't scold me for being out in the weather. These photos were taken here in the Cornfield at Farmersburg.

    The last 4 images were taken when Iohn got off work in Terre Haute shortly after 10 p.m. with his Blackberry. The streaks are actually the snow falling so quickly. Those images were taken on the south edge of Terre Haute.

    Yes, I managed to talk Iohn into going back in the snow with me to take some of the pictures.

    We are going to try and get more photos tomorrow in the daylight hours.
