    CNN PRODUCER NOTE     joshuabaker7 sent us this serene shot of his dog, Porter enjoying the view from Carr Peak in Arizona. Joshua says his beloved pooch was the first one to reach the top of the mountain on their sunrise hike!

    A cold winter morning on the day after Christmas four of us set out for an early adventure. After a couple hours of hiking, Porter is the first member of our party to summit 9200ft tall Carr Peak in Southern Arizona.
