The fiscal cliff: Messages to Washington
Fiscal cliff? It is a fiscal mountain !
Fiscal cliff ? - no it is much more than that. In 2000, there was a balanced budget. In 2013; a 16 trillion dollar debt. To make a war costs plenty, and two wars, well double that. And when you make a tax cut in the face of debt, you are irresponsible and incompetent. The worst is that the debt you have incurred is left to be repaid by those who did not make it. Many were not even born. Totally irresponsible governing..
Because of the debt you have incurred, you have lost our freedoms, and the freedoms of generations to come. These people who have betrayed their country are the same who now want do everything in their power to avoid a solution. Therefore I say to them, you made this debt - you pay it off, and increase taxes of those who can bear it. You have turned the country into the United States of China, and sold out our fiercely won freedoms.
Make way, step aside for people who want to get rid of the debt, and get our freedoms and rights back. Make way for people who want to go to war against disease and fix an inefficient, expensive, health system so that all Americans can benefit from good heath care. Make way for those who want to go to war against ignorance, and rebuild the educational system so that skilled workers can be easily found. Make way for those who will make war against poverty, so that homeless and hungry people are a thing of the past.
Make way for them who will make war against a decrepit infrastructure, so that all men can benefit from clean affordable energy and travel on modern safe rail and roads. Start governing responsibly or - get out. Fiscal cliff ? It is a fiscal mountain. And what happens now until 1 january, is just the first step on a long uphill road to regain our hard won and our beloved freedoms.
