    2013 Hit & Run Death

    A male person has been struck by a car traveling at high speed along Ennis Avenue in Rockingham, Western Australia. The driver has not stopped after the collision. The man died at the scene.

     

    The collision occurred around 4:30am, New Years Day, in normal road weather conditions.

     

    Police have closed off a section off Ennis Avenue, northbound, between Safety Bay Rd and Willmott DR,as Major Crash and forensic officers investigate.

     

    The victim is yet to be identified.

     

    <<<UPDATE 5pm>>>

     

    The deceased was a 17 year old boy.

     

    Ennis Ave will be closed into the night while forensics look over the scene.
