Jakartans Welcomed 2013
The pouring rains didn't stop the excitement of thousands of people who gathered in Bundaran Hotel Indonesia, the city's heart, to celebrate New Years's eve. Up to 16 stages were set across the main street. There were carnival too, involving thousand of senior high students who performed traditional dance and music from various provinces in Indonesia. This is the first time for the capital hosted a New Year party by closing the main streets for vehicles.
