    It's the first day of the year and it was such a beautiful, hot summer day in New Zealand, one of the first countries to greet the new year. Thousands of people flocked to the beaches to celebrate the first day of 2013. May it be sunbathing, swimming, bodysurfing, or simply listening to the sound of waves, you can't beat the beach when it comes to Kiwis' favorite summer holiday activity!
