Cumberland Island Adventure
Early in 2012, my boyfriend and I visited Cumberland Island National Seashore in St. Mary's, Georgia. He'd told me it was a remarkable place, but I had no idea. Live Oaks, Atlantic Ocean, wild ponies, tons and tons of beautiful palmettos. It's a quite near untouched island--whatever you pack in, you pack out. There's not a waste basket or snack bar to be found.
It was an incredible way to begin a year, and I can't think of anyone else with whom I would have wanted to share that relaxation and exploration.
Wild ponies, people. Enough said!
