    Fiscal Cliff? So why did Congress get a pay raise over the weekend?

    CNN PRODUCER NOTE     ZiggySiggy told me, he feels 'general disappointment and anger with how our government no longer represents the citizens and that our elected officals are more interested in the money they get from several sources.' The most recent fiscal cliff deal passed by Congress would reportedly halt a pay raise.

    I'M OUTRAGED! Over the weekend the President signed an Executive Order giving Congress a pay raise. Spending over a billion dollars. While we're going over a Fiscal Cliff? Where is their “austerity”? They all want to cut spending, why don't they cut spending on themselves? How come the mainstream press doesn't report this? Both the Democrats and Republicans agreed to this in a back room meeting. It just shows they only care about themselves and not the people they are suppose to represent. Here is the Executive Order:

    I've been sending requests to reporters asking to question the politicians; as we go over a supposedly "fiscal cliff", why are they giving themselves a pay raise. But no one wants to ask the question,
    hopefully you can help get to word out.
