    Rose Parade 2013

    CNN PRODUCER NOTE     OceanSpot told me, 'As each float turned the corner to start down the parade route, onlookers eagerly leaned forward to see which float was coming next. All of the floats were decorated with fresh flowers and a variety of natural ingredients. It was a chilly morning, but the friendly atomsphere helped warm things up.'

    Scenes from the annual Rose Parade in Pasadena, CA. It was a somewhat chilly morning, but the colorful floats and lively bands warmed up the crowd. Dr. Jane Goodall served as this year's Grand Marshall. She was pulled in a horse-drawn carriage and "Chuck" the dog walked alongside her in honor of the homeless animals of America. The theme of the parade was "Oh, the Places You'll Go!".
