Worldwide Candlelight Vigil for the Freedom of all Iranian political prisoners

This is how Iranians get united for one common cause! Free all Politocal Prisoners in Iran. WE ARE UNITED!
On Dec. 5th Prince Reza Pahlavi invited all Iranians and friends of Iran around the Globe to stand up for an important cause and demand The Freedom of All Iranian Political Prisoners.

    Official invitation:

My Dear Compatriots and Friends of Iran,

Our freedom-loving compatriots across the globe will once again stand united to show support for those suffering under the Islamic Republic regime. On Saturday, December 15th and Sunday, December 16th 2012 our compatriots will be holding candlelight vigils in their respective cities to show support for all political prisoners in Iran. For too long people have suffered in silence in Iran's prisons, hidden away by the current regime in abhorrent, unjust circumstances. None of us is truly free as long as any of our compatriots suffer under such conditions and we must remind the world of the ongoing suffering in Iran.

I highly support peaceful movements such as these candlelight vigils, and I encourage all friends of a free Iran to join my compatriots at these events or to hold a candlelight vigil in their own cities.  Help us sustain our message to the Clerical Regime: We Demand the Freedom of the Iranian Political Prisoners.

I ask that we respect all political and religious views at these events and welcome all freedom-loving citizens who would like to stand united with us.

Thank you all for your support.

    God Bless Iran,

    Reza Pahlavi

This was índeed the greatest happening for Iraninans in 2012 which showed their unity. This is the proof that Iranians regardless their different political point of views are ready to raise their voices for the voiceless and to stand up for a common cause. This event was organized by volunteers across the Globe and it was a great success.

    Prince Reza Pahlavi's appreciation letter:

I wanted to thank all my compatriots, friends of Iran and the local organizers across the globe who showed their support for Political Prisoners in Iran. I followed the event via Twitter (#light4iran) and what I saw gave me strength.
Supporters young and old, standing united across the globe regardless of the local weather conditions. I saw moving images of people in the rain and snow. I salute you all for standing with those suffering in Iran. This proves to me that we can come together as one, regardless of political or religious beliefs, for a greater good - the freedom of Iran.
God bless you and God bless Iran

    Reza Pahlavi
