    I snapped this in Gion, Kyoto on April 10, 2011 on a day trip from Komaki Air Base; I spent the day visiting popular sights around Kyoto like Kiyomizudera, Ginkakuji, Heian Jingu and the Philosopher's Walk at peak cherry blossom season. (I visited Kyoto a total of six times during my six-month tour in Japan).
