In 2009, in a routine trip to the GYN office I got my wake up call! During my "exam",my doctor was talking to me more about my weight than my "hoo-ha"! I am 61 inces tall and and that visit I was 172 lbs. it stuck with me the whole ride home that if my gynecologist was talking to me about my weight I must be fat! I started working out each day and cutting carbs. I was able to get down to 142 & then I got pregnant at the end of 2010. After the birth of my son ( cold #3) I was holding steady at 150. I decided that with 3 children depending on me and the fact that my incredibly fit military husband received a borderline "high" cholesterol report, I had to get my act together! I created a Facebook page called," Nobody Said it Would be Easy" as an accountability page and asked some of my friends to join. I measured and weighed my food, kept an online journal of what I ate and made it a point to sweat daily. I am happy to say I am 121 right now! I slack sometimes, but my Facebook page always pulls me back on track.
