    Cyclone in Reunion Island

    The Reunion Island, French department located in the Indian Ocean, is currently red alert cyclone. Indeed, the prefect of the meeting Jean Luc Marx triggered the prohibition to leave home for all people following the approach of Hurricane Dumile expected in the afternoon.

     

    In addition to the heavy rains there are waves up to 10 meters high and winds of 176km / h.

     

    Currently airports are closed and 25,000 homes are without electricity.

     

    However, despite some misgivings, cyclones are well known to Reunion.  Moreover, shelters set up for potential losses reassurance.
