At 53 I was worried I was to old to diet and exercise, but I decided i wanted to be the person i saw myself as, and not the person I saw in the mirror. I wanted to be fit, healthy and 100# thinner like I was 15 years ago. I signed up for boot camp, pushed myself to the limit and begin exercising and eating right daily. I found I love running and now am setting new personal bests at every 5K and feeling fantastic! It was a lifestyle and life change I had to do myself, for myself! It took me a year and half, but I did it the right way and have never looked back. My aha moment was when I couldn't remember how to run! I was a fantastic athlete in my youth and early adult life and how sad that I let myself go to a point I couldn't even remember how to run!
