    Allunde, Alluya

    The Cantabile Youth Singers of Silicon Valley present "Allunde, Alluya" as a song of love and hope for people everywhere. Lullabies have been called the universal language of love, they are simple songs found in every culture with common themes that echo beyond all boundaries, both geographic and human. In this Swahili lullaby, call and response technique is used throughout the chorus, "Allunde Alluya". Conducted and choreographed by Jennah Delp Somers and Shane Troll. Artistic Director for Cantabile Youth Singers, Elena Sharkova. Filmed December 1, 2012 at the Cathedral Basilica of St. Joseph in San Jose, California by William Loden with video editing by Steven R. Schrier.
