This iReport is part of an assignment:
The fiscal cliff: Messages to Washington |
What did we / you learn from the fiscal cliff?
First,
We learned that the spending cuts were kicked down the road a couple months.
Second,
We learned that nobody seems to want to deal with the state of our national finances...China's breakin' out the bubbly....Up and coming and taking over.
Get ready for a future where China calls the international monetary shots...Can Americans handle this certain reality? Nah.
Democrats and Republicans both want to continue the status quo.
Third,
We learned that the cockroach mentality has become institutional in practice around Washington for both parties....That is, they STILL attached special interest local spending into passage...Really?
Lastly,
We should all be disgusted with just about every leader in Washington...
IF you personally are dissatisfied with one party or the other exclusively then YOU are part of the problem and are a Beaver's Milk drink away from being the plague our nation consumes.
You are eating the souls of our children and their children.
And their children's pet snakes....
:-)
