Mother of Invention
A young, middle-class businessman stands on a busy city street, using an iPad as a sign to ask for money from passersby: a satire of the nonsensical idea of entitlement that pervades American society. Many citizens insist on living beyond their means, wasting money on non-essential items that they feel they ought to own and not have to earn. People look to outside sources to bail them out of financial crises, ignoring fiscal responsibility in favor of materialistic privilege.
