    Your 'Aha' weight-loss moments

    Enjoying The Journey

Enjoying the Journey is a weight loss ministry started by me after losing well over 100 lbs. I have been over weight for most of my life, and that had caused me to have several health problems. Then in 2010 after seeking God for weight loss. God started changing me! I have done a lot of research, and have made many changes in my life. I heard a message being preached by Pastor Phil Lucas about Enjoying the Journey. At that point I realized that's it. People get so focused on the end result, they don't enjoy life right now, and that focus can cause destruction to anyone trying to lose weight. Anyway through lots of prayer and changes that I feel God made in me. With lots of research. I started this Journey Sept 2010 weighing at 328 pounds. Today January 4th, 2013 I weigh 180. This isn't only a weight loss success story about me. Back January 2012 Enjoying The Journey Ministry had it's first group meeting in our church in Ashley Indiana. And I am very excited to share the results of our group. We have seen over 500 pounds lost... Anyway, I am not where I want to be yet with my weight, but I am on a journey Enjoying each day, and praising God for all the lives I have seen changed on this journey. I now feel it is important to let others know that there is hope. That is why I share my story on facebook, and our church website and in public. Thank you for sharing stories that will encourage people.
