    It was a beautiful and sunny day, a day after a heavy snow fall-- a perfect day to take a drive thru the valley leading to Schladming, the town at the foot of Planai and Dachstein mountains. From Schladming it was short, steep drive up to Rohrmoos and then a cable car to Hochwurzen, which let us enjoy the view of tthe skiers, sledders and surrounding mountains while having a hearty lunch. An after lunch drink was enjoyed onteh outdoor patio savoring the warmth from the sunshine at 1852 meters elevation.
    Schladming and Dachstein are a treat to ski with pistes for all skill levels. Boarders will find half pipes and rails to play on.
