My Open Letter To The Public:

Headline: Four (4) killed including gunman following hostage-taking at home in Aurora, Colorado. 01/05/2012

It hurts my heart when I see headlines of this nature. Something has GOT to be done to stop these shootings of innocent people. There is no single reason in the world that would give someone the authority to kill another being without reason. Preventing people from carrying guns, is NOT going to solve this problem. What will prevent things of this magnitude from happening is putting more requirements on people who attempt to get a gun, start with a MENTAL STABILITY test, if you can't control yourself, then you cannot control a firearm.

So now, I am making a public promise to the 360,000+ people that follow me between Twitter and Facebook, that I will do everything in my power to change this. It has gotten to point, where you can be at a movie screening, shopping in a mall, at school or even in your own home and you aren't sure if you're safe or not. I need everyone's help reading this, to make a promise that you will stand behind me and my efforts to put requirements on getting a firearm to reduce these horrible acts of violence. As my clothing line; Poverty Bites slogan says, Maybe All It Takes To Change The World, Is YOU!
