I was at least 50lbs overweight. I felt overwhelmed by it, fatigued all the time, and generally didn't like myself. My husband signed me up for a class at my gym called KBands. I was scared and embarrassed to go but I made myself ( for him mostly). It is a class that uses bands to add resistance against your own body weight while working out so I could work at my own pace. It combines strength building and equally addresses nutrition. No fad diet recommended, just building a healthy life style. It has changed my life. I have lost 50 lbs. in just the first 60 days of the class I lost 26 lbs. I was more flexible in just two weeks of the class and all my life I could not do push ups and now at 53 I can do 30 pretty good ones! I don't think anyone in my class lost less than 10 lbs in that 60 days.
