    Assad must go now!

(Photo / Sam Shropshire with Syrian friend Hossam Malallah (left) in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia)

Bashar al-Assad has just addressed his supporters live on TV. He says he will now engage in dialogue. Dialogue is what the people wanted two years ago. The Syrian peope demonstrated non-violently for a change in the government. He refused. He responded by killing 60,000 Syrian men, women and children and destroyed the homes of millions. He is a terrorist and must be put on trial for crimes against humanity. There can be no end to the current violence with Assad in power. He and those in the current government who support him must go. ~ Sam
