I have an ideal how maybe we can stop Obesity
I had laparoscopic gastric bypass Dec 31st 2012. I feel good but 7 days post op all i can have is protein shakes and water. As I sit home on sick leave recovering I noticed something I never noticed before from watching TV.
Back in the 70;s they banned cigarettes ads on TV because it promoted smoking.
Well with all the food commercials and its mostly fast foods and showing all that bad food. Don't you think that promotes over eating. Our nation is obese. And we are all visual and these commercials do feed our visual stimulation. especially for our kids, its horrible, and we need to start some where, These commercials need to straighten up what there showing, Or the networks need to ban these type of commercials. Come on Michelle Obama help me to get this started, Sure I know these fast food chains pay big money for their commercials. But look at out children. It breaks my heart to see these kids growing up fat. We need to get these commercials removed from television.
