Gun control debate: Background checks |
Piers Morgan can't understand being American..
- zdan, CNN iReport producer
As Piers talked about how he didn't understand why America just didn't ban guns, it because obvious to me that he can't understand because he isn't an American. Why is he having such an issue with this? He seems to be very attached to this issue, but why fight against the rights of American citizens?
I do believe that more guns DO reduce crime. In Upper Michigan where I live many people carry concealed and the crime rate is very low connected to guns. Crimes don't happen as much because criminals don't know IF someone else is armed too. Stricter laws are needed to keep guns out of the hands of those who shouldn't have them, but we should never have any discussion about disarming America...
Towards the end of this video, it became clear that Alex Jones had the upper hand. Then Piers felt it necessary to bring up 9/11..? I felt this was in very bad taste, for someone who wanted to debate our 2nd Amendment, he was quick to change subjects when he was losing it. What did 9/11 have to do with this debate concerning guns?
He doesn't understand because he is NOT an American..
