    Royal Wedding!

    CNN PRODUCER NOTE     In 2011 xoxomad and her Ugandan friend Krys decided to spice up an otherwise dull every day commute for many Londoner's on the Tube's Piccadilly line by displaying their excitement for the then upcoming royal wedding of Prince William to the Duchess of Cambridge. "We got a variety of stares because of our excitement, but we were spreading the royal cheer!" she said. "The two of us are always laughing and doing crazy stuff, therefore every tube ride is fun." The downside to traveling on the Tube? "Gusts of wind that make our hair messy," she said.

    My friend and I were on our way to a club to celebrate the eve of the Royal Wedding. We assumed that everyone would be excited and celebrating it, but turns out we may have been the only ones. We got tons of stares and laughs on our tube ride, probably for breaking the common silence on the underground. Oh well, at least we had a great time and put smiles on the grumpy London commuter's faces!
