    Three Kings Parade: A Tribute to Newtown

    During the Annual Brooklyn Three Kings Parade on January 6, 2013, Borough President Marty Markowitz and other local politicians honored the victims of the Newtown massacre with a moment of silence.

     

    The New York City Guardian Angels Safety Patrol passed out white balloons to parade attendees before the parade's start. Parade participants included Brooklyn elementary and middle school children, their parents and teachers, as well as local business representatives and political figures.
