Shout Out to Airforce in Afganistan
My son, Jose A. Hernandez, I call him "Angel" is stationed in Kabul, Afganistan. We are not allowed to put their ranks on their packages so I don't want to compromise that rule and give you his rank but he is with his A-10 Fighter Jet unit from Davis Monthan Airforce Base in Tucson, Arizona.
I want to tell him how proud we are of him, of his service in the US Air Force and that we love him so so much. The sacrifice that he and his unit are making to serve and protect the US is an act of love for the US. We, that are here on U.S. soil living free need to keep all our service members in mind and in prayer because they are not able to go to a nice dinner, (or any decent dinner ) go to a movie or come home from work and sit in a comfortable couch and living room to relax. They are at War, they are struggling in crowded living conditions, their meals are not hot fresh American food meals and they need to be encouraged and motivated. Just like we cheer for our US team in the Olympics and in other Sports. We need to keep motivating them so that they can keep up their strength to keep serving at their best potential. It is so hard for them working 14 hours a day in a country like Afganistan and I just want to make sure that America does not forget how hard their days are compared to ours. They don't have the simple luxuries that we take for granted daily and they are still required to wake up in Afganistan every morning and go to bed in Afganistan every night and keep fighting for America.
I am just a very proud momma !
