    CNN PRODUCER NOTE     Instagram user, prestonjames01, photographed his flu survival kit on January 10, while suffering from the flu. 'I'm probably at the worst stage of my "man-flu,"' he said. During his flu, he has stayed home watching films, 'and feeling sorry for myself,' he said. His flu survival kit includes a variety of home remedies, medicine and snacks, such as apple juice, cough drop and French bread for his soup. But he says one of the most smoothing remedies for overcoming his flu symptoms is a freshly made cup of Hot Toddy, a warm drink made with ginger, honey and lemon.
