President Obama has nothing to prove on diversity. This is a man that was reared by strong women. This is a man that is married to a strong woman. This is a man who is ensuring his two daughters are strong women. This is a man that has appointed two Supreme Court Justices, life time appointments, that are women. This is a man that has all ethnicities represented in his administration.Most importantly however is that this man’s policies are policies that ensure women and minorities have equal access to the American dream.

It is now codified that women must be equally paid for the same job. It is codified that health care will be a right and can no longer dictate one slide to poverty. One can go on and on on what differentiates optics from real policy.
