    My flu survival kit

    CNN PRODUCER NOTE     Jacqueline Murillo photographed her flu survival kit on January 7. She says she is still recovering from the flu, which she believes she caught on December 24. She says she did not get a flu shot last year, but usually she gets one every year. She says what makes up her flu survival kit is a lot of water, fresh oranges, cough syrup, and other forms of medication. She says when she is really congested a home remedy that really helps her is the steam from hot running water.

    This has been the worst flu I have ever experienced in my life! My flu kit contains prescribed and over the counter medications.
