    Gangster Squad Movie Review

By, Rajiim Gross of The Rag Review

    1/09/2013

Gangster Squad is a film about an elite group of Los Angeles policeman who are asked to bring down a Gangster named Mickey Cohen (played by Sean Penn). The entire political system and police system is corrupt except a few brave policeman and the chief of police (played by Nick Nolte). Josh Brolin heads the squad that heads into danger to clean up the streets of L.A. This film has a great cast and is inspired by true events that took place in 1949. The Gangster Story theme has been told many times over but the fact that this is based on true events makes it an attractive film for audiences. Lots of Action and Drama in this film.

Film Stars: Josh Brolin, Ryan Gosling, Nick Nolte, Robert Patrick, Michael Peña, Giovanni Ribisi, Anthony Mackie, Emma Stone, Sean Penn

    Directed By Ruben Fliecher

Run Time:  1 Hours and 5Minutes
