    I lost 65 lbs. and so can YOU!

    At one point in my life I weighed as much as 296 lbs. I started a personal fitness journey that would include walking 3 miles nightly. I limited my food intake and changed my lifestyle. I would use those times to pray, think and seek where God wanted me. I used scripture and the power of prayer to a mighty and loving God. I was involved in many different facets of ministry, including college campus ministry, part-time youth work and a limited time of ministry to the homeless of Sumter, SC. I went through a divorce, moved and started my life over. I became a true Follower of Christ for the first time, although I had been serving, in my own power. I remarried and with the encouragement and support of my wife, I am a new man. We read and study scripture together each morning. I am currently involved with servingg the homeless where I live and work. I now weigh 188 lbs. and with God's provision, I am off all doabetic medication. I walk 4 miles each night and still limit my food intake.
