    Another major problem with the U.S.'s gun laws: It's actually legal to buy miniguns?


    CNN PRODUCER NOTE     AndrewEB says he was curious about miniguns and while researching about them he discovered a loophole in American legislation in regards to purchasing automatic miniguns. 'Quite simply, this sort of weaponry should not be legal for any civilian to purchase,' he said. He says the loophole is potentially dangerous. 'A minigun can easily kill hundreds of innocent people,' he said. It should be noted that these guns are extremely rare.

    I wish I was joking, but I have been doing some research on miniguns, and it looks like it's actually legal to purchase miniguns in the United States due to a technicality in a law passed nearly two decades ago.
